Square Enix left things short and sweet for their E3 2018 showcase, putting emphasis on the games and the games alone.
First up was Shadow of the Tomb Raider which brought us a new gameplay trailer showing some of the new stealth mechanics Laura will have at her disposal.
Final Fantasy 14 will be getting a new patch titled 4.3 Under the Moonlight.
Not only that but Final Fantasy 14 x Monster Hunter World is a new crossover coming in Summer 2018.
The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit is actually going to be 100% free and is coming June 26th 2018. It will also contain secrets that will give insight to Life is Strange Season 2.
Dragon Quest 11: Echoes of an Elusive Age had a new trailer shown along with the announcement of the release date in the west. It is September 4th 2018.
Babylon's Fall is a brand new game being developed by Platinum Games and it will be coming to PS4 and Steam sometime within 2019.
Nier Automata: Become as Gods edition is coming to Xbox One on June 26th 2018.
Octopath Traveler, the RPG exclusive for the Switch finally has an official release date of
July 13th 2018.
Just Cause 4 introduces extreme weather including sand storms, blizzards, lightning, and tornadoes. It is going to be powered by the brand new Apex engine and will release on December 4th 2018.
A brand new game titled The Quiet Man is coming to PS4 and Steam. More will be announced in August according to Square. A very brief teaser was shown.
Finally, we had yet another Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer which was basically the same as the one shown during the Microsoft E3 press conference.
And that does it for Square Enix, with the show clocking in at just 30 minutes long.
