Hello everyone and welcome to the Sony E3 2016 Press Conference Recap.
Sony opened their show with an orchestral number and then seamlessly transitioned to a full gameplay trailer of the new God of War.
Up next was a new IP from Sony Bend Studios, Days Gone.
The Last Guardian made a short but sweet appearance in the form of a trailer. Also, the release date for the game is October 25th, 2016.
Horizon: Zero Dawn was next up on the main stage with an impressive look into more of the traversal and combat within the game. You will be able to convert the mechanized animals into ride able companions.
Detroit: Become Human is a brand new IP that has been announced and it being created by Quantic Dream so you know that this game is going to be heavily story driven.
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is releasing January 24th, 2017 and will have a playable demo tonight along with the full release being playable in PlayStation VR
Speaking of PlayStation VR, the unit will be releasing on October 13th, 2016 and will retail for $399.99. There will be 50 games coming out for the platform from the start of the release to the end of 2016. Games releasing for PlayStation VR include Farpoint, Star Wars Battlefront X-Wing VR Mission, Batman Arkham VR, and a VR experience for Final Fantasy 15.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare had a great showing with some campaign footage along with a trailer for Call of Duty 4 Remastered in which the campaign will release on PS4 30 days earlier than the competition.
Crash Bandicoot is coming back in the form of remasters built from the ground up for PS4. These games include Crash, Crash 2, and Crash Warped.
Crash Bandicoot will also be making an appearance within the new Skylanders Imaginators.
Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens had a trailer shown off along with the announcement that a demo is available now along with the full game releasing in just a couple weeks.
What is probably the biggest announcement of the night, Hideo Kojima came on stage to debut his new game from his new studio titled Death Stranding featuring Norman Reedus of The Walking Dead as the main character.
A brand new Spiderman game has been announced from Insomniac Games, creators of the Ratchet & Clank series along with Sunset Overdrive.
To finish the night off, a gameplay demo was shown off for Days Gone.
