Hello everyone and welcome to the EA E3 2016 Press Conference Recap.
Titanfall 2 was the first major game to take the stage and it was there to impress. Releasing on October 28th 2016 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC; Titanfall 2 will feature a more robust multiplayer including six new titans, a larger upgrade path, and more. Titanfall 2 will also feature a complete, offline, single player campaign that will take you deeper into the lore and universe of Titanfall.
Next up was Madden NFL 17 which will include an all new commentary team, new balancing, and more.
EA is getting more and more into the eSports game with new leagues for players of all skill levels. These leagues consist of Challenger Series, Premier Series, and finally EA Majors; where the best of the best compete on the worlds largest stages for the largest prize pools.
Mass Effect Andromeda made a small but explosive appearance on the main stage, featuring a brand new teaser. The game will now take full advantage of the Frostbite engine and is looking to be one hell of an experience.
FIFA 17 was next up and is looking to shake things up with a brand new story mode titled, The Journey. This, along with brand new game play enhancements such as set piece rewrites, physical play overhaul, active intelligence systems, and new attacking techniques are making FIFA 17 something more than just another football game. Oh yeah, Premier League managers are now fully rendered within the game as well. So there is that.
Now you remember Yarny right? Well EA has fully stepped up to the Indie plate and has introduced the world to EA Originals. This system is designed to bring more unique experiences to everyone around the world. It is intended to help smaller studios with funding and to provide layers of security. EA also stated that all profits will go to the developers of the games. The first game within this new EA Originals branding is none other than Fe.
Fe is a personal, narrative driven experience about your interaction with nature. Everything within the world of Fe is connected by voice and song. Fe will not hold your hand in any way as you experience everything that this vibrant and gorgeous world has to offer.
Star Wars is just that force (see what I did there?) that will never stop and no one wants it to. EA sure doesn't want to see it end. That is why they have three new experiences in the pipeline. New games and new content for existing games are on the horizon and the video below will allow you to see a glimpse of what is to come.
What better way to round out the first press conference of E3 than with Battlefield 1. With enhanced destruction and dynamic weather, Battlefield 1 looks to be an incredible game with even more incredible explosions.
And that does it for EA's E3 2016 Press Conference.
Thank you for reading and stay tuned for recaps of all of the press conferences during E3 2016.
