Oh Devolver Digital. You never cease to amaze when it comes to the E3 press conference. This year, Devolver decided to take a slightly different approach, with a Devolver ‘Direct‘ type of show. Here were the announcements.
Have you ever wondered what would happen if Devolver published a battle royale game? Turns out you would have one of the most inventive looking games. Period. Fall Guys Ultimate Knockout releases in 2020 on PS4 and PC. It looks incredible and I will not try to justify it with words. Check out the trailer.
Next was the Devolver Bootleg, a collection of eight games on Steam that is available right now.
Carrion is a reverse horror game where you are the unsightly abomination, hell bent on escaping from your captivity and killing everyone that stands in the way. It looks rad. I will be playing the shit out of it.
Do you think arcades are dying? Well Devolver doesn’t think so and as a matter of fact, is releasing Enter the Gungeon: House of the Gundead to arcades everywhere!
The Messenger is getting a brand new expansion titled Picnic Panic and is releasing for FREE, on July 11th, 2019.
Finally, the game everyone has been waiting for, My Friend Pedro will FINALLY release on June 20th, 2019 in all of its shooty shooty physics bang bang glory. I cannot wait for this one and luckily, I will not have to wait much longer.
Another post, another E3 conference in the books. Devolver was a great time as always and definitely a highlight of the entire E3 week. Make sure to keep it locked here for all the E3 2019 press conference recaps.
