Bethesda E3 2019 Press Conference Recap

This year for Bethesda, it was all about the community and how much they LOVE their community. Also games, there were games to talk about. Let’s see about those games, shall we?

First up, Elder Scrolls Blades. BETHESDA OPENED THEIR FUCKING PRESS CONFERENCE WITH ONE OF THEIR MOBILE GAMES. I played a little last night when my infant woke up at three in the morning. Turns out, it is not that bad. I may even play more of it. Alright, back to what was shown. Mainly a Switch port is coming. WOO SWITCH PORTS! Check out the video.

Next up, the game that nearly destroyed Bethesda but has since garnered a lot of praise. People are still waiting on their canvas bags though. Either way, Fallout 76 had a good showing, including Wastelanders which is their next free expansion coming in Fall 2019, a new battle royale mode called Nuclear Winter, and a free trial week for the full game from June 10th-17th.

You know the developer who made The Evil Within? Were you expecting another horror game from the same developers? Were you expecting anything less? Ghostwire Tokyo looks to be something special.

DRAGONS! DRAGONS! MORE DRAGONS! Elder Scrolls Online got a little stage time with more talk about dragons. There were also a couple teases on new content to come to the game over the coming months.

Seriously, these free to play mobile games need to fucking stop. Especially if they are just trying to rip off other successful mobile games. Wait. That is the whole point of mobile games. Dammit. Here is a trailer for the next game within the Commander Keen franchise. Yes, THAT Commander Keen. And no, it does not look good.

Speaking of mobile games. How about Elder Scrolls Legends? I am not even going to include the trailer that they showed during the press conference. That would be a waste of everyone’s time. Instead, I am going to move onto…

Rage 2. Looks like more content is on the way including the first story expansion titled Rise of the Ghosts. Here is that trailer of insanity.

Wolfenstein Cyberpilot is a VR game set within the Wolfenstein universe. Yup, another on rails mech shooter. Cooooooooooooooooooooooooool. How about Wolfenstein Youngblood? How about co-op. Now THAT is more like it!

Arkane Studios, creators of Dishonored, showed off their next game titled Deathloop and it looks fucking insane in the best way possible. Do I need to mention no release date yet? Well I just did.

Because Bethesda is the owner of ID and ID creates game engines, it only makes sense that Bethesda wants to get into the game stream business. But they aren’t coming out with a game stream subscription service. Instead, they want to be the ‘back end‘ to the streaming service. See more within the video.

Alright, enough of the kid shit. DOOM ETERNAL TIME! We got a brand new gameplay trailer along with an official release date of November 22nd, 2019. DOOM Eternal will also include a brand new multiplayer mode titled Battlemode and it is NOT a battle royale mode so don’t worry. Instead, it is a 2v1 Demons vs Slayer mode.

There you have it! Bethesda’s conference in the books and actually a few surprising moments to be had. Remember to keep it locked here for all the E3 2019 press conference recaps.
