Well that was short lived!
That's right ladies and gentlemen, the JKFire stream is officially coming back and it is starting back up sooner than you might think.
In case you needed a refresher, I stopped streaming entirely at the end of August of this year (2017) due to multiple reasons but one of the main being that I was just too drained. I was in the process of transitioning into my new full time job, Natana (my wife) and I are working on starting a family of our own, and I was dealing with some depression. Now, after giving it some time off and talking it over with Natana, I have the green light to start streaming again.
Now for the (what some might think as) sad news... A big change is going to be taking place in regards to the look of the stream. After giving it some thought, I want to get back to what I loved about streaming in the first place. Some would even go as far to say, the good old days. The following change to the stream is going to be taking place...
- No webcam (focus on the gameplay)
Honestly, the biggest reason for this change is the room in which I have my setup located. In my mind, I want the focus of the stream to be on the gameplay and the community. I was originally fine with having the webcam due to the lighting conditions and the green screen at my disposal which allowed my face to not be the dominating feature on the screen. With the current room situation (converting the old 'studio' into a nursery), studio lights and a green screen are simply not feasible. Therefore, I will no longer be visible on stream. For those who used to watch in my beginning months, you already know how it looked.
The last thing I want to add to this already incredibly long post is in regards to the schedule of the stream. Guess what? If you looked at the attached picture above then you will already know that I will not be having a schedule for the foreseeable future. Now I know first hand that usually channel growth happens more frequently once a dedicated schedule has been created. Frankly, I am not focused on growth at this time. I am focused on having fun and that is what streaming and playing video games and talking to wonderful individuals is all about. Right?
Let me end this post with this... I am back. The focus of the stream is going to be on the gameplay and you, the community. I miss you and I miss talking to you every day. I know Discord is a thing but there was just something purely special about having that live discussion and I want that back. I want to be there for you like you are always there for me. Let's get back to the good old days, okay? See you tomorrow.

P.S Tell me how my microphone sounds, I am using a headset mic but I believe the settings are all dialed in to not make it sound like shit. If it does, I have another solution. Alright, thanks for reading. Bye!
