Days 2 and 3 - I have no idea what I am doing.
Now don't get me wrong, I have played an MMO or three in my day so I know how they function but WoW is a completely different beast. The sheer amount of things to remember and pay attention to is astounding. Luckily, Logan is doing a tremendous job in showing me the ropes and letting more know what to focus my attention on.
At the time of typing this, I have three characters. My trial Warrior, my main Mage and my newly crafted Death Knight. Yes, this was all in the span of two actual days playing the game. I am very excited to continue with my Mage and Death Knight. Both have completely different play styles and they cater to my wants when it comes to spell damage and up close and personal combat.
To really get to the point of this post, I am still learning as there is a lot of learning to do. The zones look great and varied, the music is glorious and majestic, and the combat is fluid and satisfying. My only 'gripe' thus far would have to be the cumbersome menus and interface. I simply do not know what to do with all of the settings at my disposal so that is the next task at hand. Oh yeah, and to get to level 90. I guess that is important as well.
In the next post, I will go more in depth on my thoughts on the progression within WoW and what I feel has been accomplished during my time with the game.
Until next time,
